Aberdeen preps for first LGBTQ pride events

ABERDEEN, S.D. (AP) — The city of Aberdeen is preparing for its first LGBTQ pride events on Saturday night. Events will include live music and karoke outside the Red Rooster Coffee House and a drag show at Slackers bar. The show is open to anyone 21 and older. About 10 performers from the Black Hills and Sioux City, Iowa, are signed up. Organizers ask that attendees wear facemasks to curb the spread of COVID-19.
