SIOUX CITY (KTIV) - Rain and thunderstorms moved through the area this morning and brought some severe wind gusts into Siouxland. Rain chances are done with for the day.

A cold front will move through Siouxland this evening, ushering in a north wind and much drier air. Dew points fall back into the 40s and 50s, so the air will be feeling a lot more comfortable.

High pressure takes control over the weekend leading to plenty of sunshine. It will still be hot with temperatures in the upper 80s Saturday, and lower to middle 90s Sunday. Again, humidity will be lower so it won't be as muggy.

The hot weather continues into next week, with only one slight chance of rain. Catch the full 10 Day Forecast on KTIV News at 5, 6 and 10.
