**Heat Advisory for Yankton and Holt Counties in western Siouxland Wednesday afternoon**

SIOUX CITY - It was another hot and dry day throughout Siouxland with highs in the upper 80s and low 90s.

Tonight we can expect a clear and calm night with an overnight low in the low 60s.

Tomorrow we will see stronger winds throughout the day with gusts reaching 25 miles per hour with highs in the low 90s.

Things could start to change Wednesday evening as we see a slight chance of storms creep into our forecast after 6 pm.

The better chances however will most likely come in after midnight into Thursday morning.

The rest of Thursday will also give us a chance of thunderstorms with highs still very warm in the mid 90s.

I'll take a closer look at how strong some of these storms could be tonight on News 4 at 5, 6, and 10.
