SIOUX CITY (KTIV) - It was another day of the heat index hitting the 100-degree mark in much of Siouxland.
A chance of storms moves in tonight with the best chances being in eastern Siouxland.
If the storms are able to develop, they could become severe in eastern Siouxland with hail and wind being the primary threats.
These storms should move east of the KTIV viewing area by midnight with just a few more showers or thundershowers moving back in from the west after 4 am although these will not be severe.
Some of those showers could linger into Friday morning before we see decreasing clouds and highs in the low 90s but it will be less humid.
I'll have the very latest on our storm chances tonight on News 4 at 10.
